Electronics and Communication Engineering was one of the branches started, under the aegis of University College of Engineering, established in 2003, at Punjabi University, Patiala.
Our vision is to become the best Teaching and Research department of the region in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering. Our mission is to establish the department as the Centre of Excellence in its domain by seeking strong association with Industry and International Research laboratories.

4-year B.Tech., 5-year Engineering Management, 2-year M.Tech.
18 members have completed Ph.D, published more than 150 papers in SCI journals, around 10 books.
Many government Scholarship schemes, University also granted scholarships & loan facilities.
